Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked it at number 8. Vaina Loca was it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. He released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album in the years following. In 2021, he sang a duet. Turizo was brought up in a music-oriented environment as both his mother & his older brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo has declared that music is a must.
