Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress famous for Hum Aapke Hai Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is one of the most well-known Indian actors. Her first fame was the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred along with an established actor Anil Koopor. The next time she appeared on screen was Dil alongside Aamir. In Mumbai, she was raised within a middle class family parents. When she was a young age, she started to take dance lessons. When she was a teen, she began acting and was a victim for a few years due to the fact that her early films failed. Her fame grew and she became one of India's leading film actors. Following her wedding the actress took time to rest from her acting career prior to returning. More recently she played an integral role in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggle of women living in India. Dixit is nominated to win fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. The actress was also honoured with her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. The award was also given to her for her work in the social sector.
